Jewson Price Increases September 2022

Dear customer, 

Given the current market conditions we know how important it is that you are provided with advanced notice of any significant price changes. We are therefore advising you of some price increases on products that are planned to come into effect on September 1st 2022. 

As always, we are working hard behind the scenes with our suppliers to minimise all increases, but we wanted to let you know the current projected increases to allow you to plan accordingly. 

Product Category / Price Increase 

Power tools - Upto5%
Power tool accessories - 5%
Flat roofing - Upto15%
Plastic drainage – Upto 8%
Decking accessories - 5.7%

Decorative softwood mouldings - 10.7% 

*Please note, the above increases do not apply to all products within the categories and only highlight the most relevant price increases. 

Why we’re increasing our prices. 

At the beginning of 2022, many suppliers had hoped that the volatility in price would begin to stabilise in the second half of 2022 but unfortunately this is not the case and the picture remains very much unchanged. Suppliers are continuing to experience extreme cost price inflation. These factors remain very much unchanged and include the increased cost of fuel, energy, as well as packaging, foreign exchange rates and the price of raw materials.
