Jewson Price Increases August 2022

Dear customer, 

Given the current market conditions we know how important it is that you are provided with advanced notice of any significant price changes. We are therefore advising you of some price increases on products that are planned to come into effect on August 1st 2022. 

As always, we are working hard behind the scenes with our suppliers to minimise all increases, but we wanted to let you know the current projected increases to allow you to plan accordingly.

Concrete tiles and fittings                   9.5%
Bitumen membranes                           16%
Fibre cement tiles                                5-8%
Plumbing (Taps and Showers)            4%

Concrete lintels                                   3.9%

Concrete fencing                               3.9%

Steel lintels                                           18%

*Please note, the above increases do not apply to all products within the categories and only highlight the most relevant price increases. 

Why we’re increasing our prices. 

Similarly, to previous months, our suppliers are still continuing to experience extreme cost price inflation. These factors remain very much unchanged and include the increased cost of fuel (which is impacting production and freight) as well as packaging, foreign exchange rates and the price of raw materials. Additionally, some suppliers are now citing that the Russia-Ukraine conflict is now beginning to impact their supply chains further.
